"Coastal fog. 52° F. 7 AM.
Left at 9 for Wilson Creek meeting with Greg and friends.
We started hiking the new trail from north to south through the Norte Coast Redwoods on each side of 101. About 5 miles. Wonderful trail work to start. Not completed in PP&L's transmission line right of way and still rough on southernmost part, but quite easy to negotiate. Spent much time helping others identify spring flowers. Found giant trilliums and beautiful futterhaus[?]on slopes going toward Wilson Creek. Many huge sitka spruces."
