"A man-made cut -- 88" wide and 9' 6" high -- in the 700-year old tree allows most cars, vans, and pickups to pass through. The Tour Thru Tree is located at the junction of U.S. Hwy 101 and State Route 169 at Klamath, California, 60 miles north of Eureka and 20 miles south of Crescent City."
