Description
From back of postcard:
"ORIGINAL DRIVE-THRU TREE located at Shrine Park in Myers Flat (50 miles south of Eureka) on the 'Avenue of the Giants.' Known as the 'Shrine of the Redwoods' because it was the first major attraction along the Redwood Highway. Full-sized autos and pickups easily negotiate the natural opening which was hollowed out centuries ago by fires. Along with this historic landmark Shrine Park contains the Drive-On Log, Balance Tree, Walk-Through Tree and an operating Redwood Woodshop."
